Trademonster was established in 2014, today we have over 50 employees operating from 3 offices in Auckland, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Our mission is “buy global and sell global” by providing a complete eCommerce solution from supply chain management to social media marketing services. 

Trademonster now provides an important pathway for foreign brands to enter the eCommerce market by offering complete eCommerce solutions supported by its own IT technology and infrastructure. The Company plays a key role in helping New Zealand SME’s reach the Asian market by providing efficient marketing and promotional plans. Trademonster achieved rapid development in cross-border eCommerce sector.

New Zealand’s unique environment, a variety of natural ingredients and strict production quality control, ensure New Zealand products are trusted by global consumers.

Trademonster started its digital journey by helping New Zealand SMEs and brands export to Asian eCommerce market. We delivered solid success by resolving every aspect of cross border eCommerce challenges. To date, we’ve facilitated more than 3 million eCommerce parcels globally, contributing to significant growth in international revenue for New Zealand export market. We achieved nearly 200% growth in revenue since 2016 on a year-on-year growth rate.

Founder and managing partner Gavin Liu Yang’s leadership and pioneering work has helped NZ SMEs and businesses gain extensive insight and information to understand the Chinese market better, potential consumer needs and motivations, and understand how their product and business proposition fits with the market and the consumer.

Trademonster facilitates multiple online and offline distribution access to major Chinese cross-border eCommerce platforms, including TMall, VIP.com and Kaola, social content platforms Red, Walmart, Metro Group, Duty-Free stores. Key brands include A2, Anmum, Go Healthy, Goodhealth, Harker Herbals ect. Our innovative and advanced eCommerce path has taken the business sale of hundreds of New Zealand companies to the next level and enjoyed significant growth and expansion.

By leveraging off existing eCommerce business models and our IT infrastructure, Trademonster developed its own Order Fulfilment Management System (OFMS), which can meet the rapid business docking and diversified supply chain solution capabilities for the cross border eCommerce environment – including multiple eCommerce logistics fulfilment solutions from New Zealand to China for direct shipping and multiple bonded warehouse fulfilment capability covering most of the China eCommerce platforms.

Trademonster offers a range of Cross-border eCommerce logistics services for eCommerce platforms and logistics service providers from overseas by leverage existing eCommerce business model and IT infrastructure. Trademonster also provides MPI certified direct eCommerce shipping for New Zealand milk powder, honey and other products to the Chinese market. The Company’s New Zealand warehouse is RMP certified and is also partner with Alibaba as their New Zealand overseas fulfilment center.

Trademonster’s national impact can be measured by it’s reputation with our New Zealand business partners expanding into the China market. Over the past few years, Trademonster has been honoured to receive many business awards from the industry. For example, 2019 NZCTA China Business Award Best use of eCommerce in Exporting to China, EY Entrepreneur of the Year Service Category Winner and Deloitte Fast 50 winner Regional Category Winner. By partnering with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, we helped launching New Zealand Hui Maori Collective and New Zealand Food Basket projects successfully in China.

Affected by the pandemic, the suppression of offline consumption has brought global opportunities for online consumption. We started to think of global expansion strategy by replicating best practices in eCommerce market and identify growth opportunity from other part of the world. Even though there’re ups and downs from global economic and geopolitical impact, we are ready to plug in our system, experiences, and capabilities into any emerging market at any time.
