Established in 1913 as an engineering company in New Zealand, Scott Technology initially focused on specialising in motor repair and appliance manufacturing.
With time and diversification, Scott is today a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced automation systems.
Our journey in China started in 2007 when we set up a representative office in Qingdao, followed by the acquisition of a 75% share in a Chinese manufacturing facility in September 2011 and the establishment of Scott Systems (Qingdao) Co., Ltd in 2014 allowing us to take advantage of opportunities within the Chinese and wider Asian markets.
Located in SCO Green Low Carbon Industrial Park, JiaoZhou, Qingdao, Scott Technology’s facility includes an 8000m2 workshop providing comprehensive processing capabilities including design machining, quality inspection and storage.
We have 40 plus employees including management and engineering staff. We also have 24 automations lines running safely and efficiently at our customer sites.
Scott China provides turn-key solutions for sheet metal forming production for the home appliance industry, including design, manufacturing, commissioning and service; supplies cost effective parts for Scott’s world wide facilities; provides service for all Scott’s branded products sold in China and undertakes business development, including marketing and sales) of meat processing machines and mining products.
Our major clients in China include Midea, Little Swan, Hisense-Hitachi, Haier, Rittal, BSH and Candy.
